About the Owner
From a very early age, I’ve been interested in nature. In my teens I started doing landscaping, gardening, and horticulture work. When I started tree work at the age of 18, I knew I had found my career. To this day, it continues to interest and challenge me in a way that I never get bored of.
In 2007, I founded Earthworks Tree Service. My passion for tree care and dedication to continuing education has helped me emphasize my business’ goals of maintaining and preserving the health and beauty of trees, with removal as a last resort. As a Certified Arborist, I keep up to date with current standards for tree care practice. For instance, ask about our specialty “crown reduction pruning,” a technique that has increased our ability to keep trees safe and healthy.
I enjoy bringing together a crew of like minded individuals. We Love being able to simultaneously meet the goals of our clients and their trees.

Cory Brunhaver was born and raised in Bellingham and spent much of his youth on the slopes as a ski racer, as well as a short triathlon career. He loves trees and everything they have to offer and hopes to become a certified arborist in the next year.
Troy Worden was born and raised in Whatcom County. He specializes in welding and mechanics, which can come in handy at the job site. His introduction to tree work began at Earthworks, and has grown into a deep appreciation for the rich culture of the service and logging in the Northwest.
